The Urilyzer® Auto is a newly designed fully-automated urine test strip analyzer introducing the pipetting technique in combination with a new LED-based measuring head to analyze the CombiScreen® 11 Auto urine strip. In addition, the system has a Physical Measurement Cell (PMC) module to determine specific gravity, color, and turbidity. The system is specifically designed to improve the accuracy and safety of urine test strip evaluation.
The Urilyzer® Auto is a stand-alone instrument that can be interfaced with a urine sediment analyzer in order to have a standard urine status report.
EFFICIENT AND AFFORDABLE
- Uses distilled water as the only system liquid. At least 300 tests can be performed with only 5 L of distilled water.
- 10 sample racks with 10 sample positions each ensure throughput of up to 240 tests/hour.
- TwoHamiltonsyringesensureaccurateand fast mixing and loading of the urine sample.
- The system does not require calibration by the user. Each time the instrument is turned on, it performs a system test.
RELIABLE AND ACCURATE
- The Urilyzer®Auto is based on a reflectance photometer that analyzes the intensity and color of light reflected from the urine strip. The optical unit contains four LEDs that emit light at various wavelengths.
- Theopticalheadfeaturesanauto-compensation: A separate detector measures continuously the brightness level of the light source and compensates for the results accordingly.
- A minimal sample volume of only 2 ml is required. The level of the sample is controlled by a liquid level sensor.
- The Physical Measurement Cell (PMC) module ensures an accurate measurement of the specific gravity, turbidity, and color of the urine sample.
EASY-TO-USE AND AGILE
- Convenientstriploadingbydirectpouringof 150 CombiScreen® 11 Auto urine strips out of the tube into the strip feeder container.
- Built-in barcode reader and thermal printer.
- The comfortable color touchscreen guides the user through the menu.
- The Urilyzer® Auto has a memory capacity of up to 10,000 results.
