Robust performance for reliable, quality seals. This is the workhorse among terumo BCT’s tube sealers. It is designed to meet all IEC 61010-1 safety standards. It produces a hermetic seal through radio frequency (RF) waves, minimizing contamination and hemolysis of blood and blood components.

Features:

• RF sealing: high-power RF waves are generated by an oscillator for reliable, quality seals; there is little risk of hemolysis, as RF waves heat only the tubes, not the liquid inside
• RF signal is applied only after the tube is fully squeezed
• Tube segments are easily separated after sealing
• Shape of the electrode is designed to create consistent, reliable seals
• Switch mode power supply (SMPS) surge protector ensures consistent performance and quality seals even with input voltage fluctuations
